Traveling Exhibitions

The Amistad Center offers two exhibitions inspired by our collection that are suitable for non-museum environments such as libraries and corporate headquarters. These exhibitions are available for a fee. Please contact The Amistad Center at 860-838-4133 for more information:

Sing The Truth: Voices From The Amistad Center - A banner display of the photographs and short stories of great African American female vocalists including the Fisk Jubilee Singers, Mahalia Jackson and Lena Horne.

African American Art in Motion: Fresh Faces of Youth - A visually stunning educational display of high quality reproductions of fine portraits focusing on the subject of African American youth across the 19th and 20th centuries.
