The Amistad Center for Art & Culture presents SNAP! 2023, a Fall teen program led by New Haven photography artist, Kim Weston. This 12-week program will engage a variety of teens from CREC Art’s Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts in the culmination of a photography portfolio and group exhibition in the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art’s Avery Court gallery. The exhibition is related to the upcoming exhibition, Love Overflowing: Home and the Black Aesthetic. Students will learn about various topics in this robust curriculum including, the history of photography, camera function, lighting, and more! This is a paid opportunity.
